The Government, therefore, shall adopt the following approaches to achieve the desired objectives
Identification of thrust areas and promotion of specific industries.
Announcement of a package of fiscal and other incentives.
Catalyze development of industrial infrastructure.
Provide special promotional packages for rural and traditional industries and for industries based on sericulture.
Re-structuring of public sector undertaking to make them more efficient for achieving commercial viability.
Evolve rehabilitation package for sick industries.
Develop market support system including encouragement of export market

Adoption of new administrative measures to back up the system
Adoption of broad policy on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Joint venture (JV) proposals keeping in view the necessity of safeguarding the interest of the tribal entrepreneurs and tribal population of Mizoram.
