Immigration.But the residence of immigrants is subject to the conditions set by the Immigration Law.


The President

The Presidentn

The President of the United States of America holds his office for a term of four years.

Each state appoints a number of electors, equal to the whole number of senators and representatives to which the state may be entitled in the Congress. However, no senator or representative, or person holding an office of trust or profit under the United States, can be appointed as can elector.

No person is eligible to the office of the President of the United States, except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States. Moreover, no person is eligible to such office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been at least fourteen years a resident within the United States.

The President is the Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, along with the Militia of the several States.

The President also enjoys power, by and with the advice and consent of the senate, to make any treaty, provided two thirds of the senators present concur. He can also nominate and appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court.

The President also has power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the senate.

The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, can be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President assumes the role of the President.

In case of a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President nominates a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
