A daily document is maintained which speaks about the current and the future business of the Parliament. The hard copy of these papers is known as the ‘Vote Bundle’ in the House of Commons whereas in the House of Lords, the papers are known as ‘House of Lords Business’.
Yesterday’s business
A publication called Votes and Proceedings formally record what the House of Commons did the previous day. It notes down everything like decisions take, amendments to bills and other list of publications and other documents that were discussed in the House. The Minutes of proceedings publication formally contains the previous day’s business of the House of Lords, including judicial decisions.
Today’s Business
The Summary Agenda sets out the coming day’s business overview. The Order of Business contains a more detailed agenda.
