In order to implement a law, or change or amend an existing law, a Bill has to be initiated. After extensive debating or deliberation in the Parliament, a Bill becomes a Law. Bills may be initiated in either the House of Lords or the House of Commons for examination, discussion and amendments. After consent is obtained from both the Houses of the parliament, then the same is forwarded to the Monarch for approval. Once the Royal assent is obtained, a Bill becomes an Act of the Parliament and is a Law.
